It surprises Stiles too, honestly, with having gotten to know Peter more intimately these last years, then and now. It surprises him that Peter didn't take off the moment he realized Stiles could mark him, that he was powerful enough to do so.

But then again, maybe that's why he stayed. He has no illusions as to why Peter kept him in the beginning, his spark was too attractive not to. But it's become more than that now, and that too is scary on it's own- for both of them.

"You know I won't," Stiles murmurs against Peter's mouth. "But if I ever do, I won't stop you."
