"Oh, yes, they are extremely sensitive about their scales. Scales are important in finding a mate after all. They are not going to give it up easily, it's a part of their survival." Peter nods.

He catches a whiff of a dark, spicy scent of Stiles for a moment. He likes it, though Stiles quickly gets rid of the thought what caused it, and Peter won't chase. Not yet.
