[Peter smirks as he opened the door for Stiles.]

A little early, don't you? [He teases and opens the door wider for him.] Come on in. You're lucky, the food's ready.

[Peter's been in Beacon Hills for a few weeks now, but his apartment was presentable only a few days. Since he preferred to stay for a long time this time he decided to renovate one. And of course they didn't really celebrate their reunion with Stiles yet. 

So Peter also aimed this night to be a celebration and a date. And something else. But Stiles will know in time.]

[causticly]

[ He licks his lips in thought. He could have the power he's wanted to protect himself, without becoming a werewolf. He's just fine being human, thank you. He has the spark and he doesn't want to waste it.

Stiles slowly sets down his fork. ]

What would you be satisfied with, that I can give you?

[burnedwolf]

[Peter is aware how his eyes must glow red as he's looking at Stiles.]

Be my emissary too. [He feels his blood boil as he says the words. Because this isn't about mates, it's about power, about being powerful. About gaining an emissary who has a spark and wouldn't need to serve the balance. Scott was blind for not seeing it and Deaton was a coward for not tending to it. But Peter will. He will show Stiles and all the others the potential the boy has.]

[causticly]

[ Stiles feels his pulse speed up a little as Peter's eyes go red. Truthfully he's been trying to figure out how to use his spark since going to college. After that bullshit with Theo he realized he needed an edge. And if Scott and Deaton weren't going to help him, then he'd figure it out on his own. But he doesn't have the resources like Deaton did.

Like Peter does.

It doesn't take Stiles long to reach a decision. To be an Alpha's mate and their emissary... he would have the means to protect his dad without Scott's help. ]

Okay, yes.

[burnedwolf]

[Peter feels his teeth strain at Stiles' answer. His wolf howls, his Alpha instincts are raging.]

Good. [The word is low and long, his eyes are still on Stiles. Now he just needs a pack. Betas. Even though with Stiles as his emissary maybe it will not be too urgent. So he raises his glass.] No turning back now, Stiles.

[causticly]

[ Stiles shivers at the way Peter watches him, stomach knotting up in excitement.

The teen raises his own glass, smirking. ] Wouldn't dream of it.

[burnedwolf]

[With a sip of his wine, Peter nods. ]

Indeed, your dreams should be occupied with far more interesting ambitions. And because you're so eager, I give you a choice on how do you want to start your training.

[causticly]

[ After taking a sip of his wine, Stiles sets down the glass and lets out a little laugh, shrugging. ]

I have no idea, honestly. Deaton wouldn't tell me anything and Scott kept saying it was too dangerous to try. Books maybe? On, I don't know, how to access my spark?

[burnedwolf]

Deaton is just afraid. He has no spark, but he's experienced and at this point, it gives him advantage. [Peter closes his eyes for a moment as they are back to his original color and looks down at his plate in thought.]

There are no books about that. Power, or if you want to put it that way, sparks are different and they are accessed differently. I can give you material on how others did it, but you will have to find your own.

[causticly]

[ Stiles wonders what Deaton is afraid of. Is he afraid of how powerful Stiles could become? How dangerous? It excites him. ]

I'll take anything I can get my hands on at this point.

[burnedwolf]

I noticed that. [Peter smirks.]

Oh, Stiles, you'll be magnificent. We'll both be. [He added, finishing his meal.]

[causticly]

[ Stiles just grins in reply and starts to finish up his dinner that Peter made for them.

He hasn't been this excited in a long damn time. ]

[burnedwolf]

I'm glad we could discuss the point of this dinner. [Peter remarks as he pours more wine before he would take the plates away.] It needed less wine than I thought even.

[causticly]

[ The teen snorts a little as he cleans up his plate, then sets it aside. ] I figured you inviting me over simply to have dinner was too good to be true.

[burnedwolf]

You should know me. I'm not doing anything without a good reason. [Peter smirks.] But was it so bad? I mean, you seem to be enjoying yourself.

[causticly]

I do know you, which is why I wasn't surprised. And yes, I am enjoying myself very much, thank you.

[ He's not mad or angry, of course, it's just a part of Peter he's long since accepted. But having dinner was certainly a nice touch. ]

Next time, we're totally going on a real date.

[burnedwolf]

A real date. [Peter frowns, tasting the word. He gets up to take the plates away.] Sound like you already have something in mind.

[causticly]

[ A wide grin spreads across his face. ]

I was thinking the ol standard dinner and a movie, then maybe a walk around town before you finally take me home, walk me to my door like a gentleman.

[burnedwolf]

And I'd kiss your cheek and say good night? [Peter walks back to the table with an amused smile on his lips. He takes his glass as he sits down again.]

That's awfully specific and sound terribly boring. Would you really like it?

[causticly]

Why not? [ Stiles leans back in his chair, picks up his glass and takes a sip, then shrugs. ]

Considering the utter shitfest my life has been the past couple years? I wouldn't mind something normal and boring for once. We could always take a walk through the woods and you can chase some rabbits to spice it up.

[burnedwolf]

Oh please, rabbits are easy, the real prey here is deer or people. [Peter rolls his eyes, looking away as he's thinking about Stiles' words. 'Normal', he wonders. He's not sure he can do normal anymore... Some people have trouble with supernatural and handling life threatening scenarios others weren't sure in every day life, like a date.] But if you insist.

[causticly]

No humans. [ Stiles points at Peter as he says it.

Though he seems surprised when Peter agrees, brows raising. ]

Seriously??

[burnedwolf]

Just a little. [Peter teases.]

Don't make me question my decision. And I have one condition. [He sighs.] I'm going to be a gentleman, but I'm not going to leave you by your door.

[causticly]

Oh really? [ Stiles leans forward a little, arm resting on the table and his head in his hand, grinning. ]

Then what will you do with me?

[burnedwolf]

Hmm. [Peter smiles, raising an eyebrow at Stiles.] Well, I suppose I'd keep the theme of the night and just keep it slow. Very slow. Unbearably so.

I'd take time to know you, every little part of you. Until you tell me not to screw around and just take you, but oh no. I won't.

[causticly]

[ Stiles groans a little, his cheeks flushing a bit at the picture Peter is painting for him. ]

Not even if I beg?
